BOSU Ball Push-Ups

BOSU Ball Push-Ups: Push-Ups are a great upper body and core exercise - add in a BOSU Ball for an additional challenge involving more stabilizing muscles. Before attempting this exercise you should be proficient at performing standard push-ups. Turn the BOSU Ball over so that the dome is facing the floor. Grip the indented handles and distribute your weight evenly. With your arms extended and your shoulders over your hands (legs fully extended as pictured) begin slowly lowering your chest toward the BOSU Ball (bending at the elbows). Once your elbows reach a 90 degree angle hold the position for one count (pictured). Now begin pushing upward and return to the starting position. Inhale as you lower your body and exhale as your raise your body. Perform up to 15 repetitions, add sets as needed.
